An important element in achieving this is to actively involve patients in their own treatment, and to organise treatment in accordance with the needs, possibilities and schedule of the individual.

We want a healthcare system that is coherent, and in which healthcare providers collaborate across sectors and specialist groups to deliver the best service to patients.
